Windsor Police have recovered a firearm that could be connected to the murder of a 19-year-old man last month.
The Major Crimes Unit is still doing testing to determine if it is the same weapon used in the shooting last Tuesday of Dallas Nelson.
Police are saying the firearm was recovered as police were executing a search warrant in connection with their investigation of the case.
The location it was found has not been released, police saying that's part of their investigation.
Police were initially called to Windsor Regional Hospital on a report of a man who had suffered a gunshot wound.
The victim died later in hospital.
45-year-old David Formosa is charged with first degree murder in the death.
