For the fourth time this year, careless smoking has claimed a life in Windsor.
Windsor Fire Chief Fire Prevention Officer John Lee says Sunday's blaze on Louis Ave. near Wyandotte St E. has been listed as accidental as a result of careless smoking.
He says a man in his 70's died of smoke inhalation.
Lee says the fire was put out in 10-minutes.
"While surpressing the fire, they did find a male party in there, in his 70's," says Lee. "He was rescued from the fire but passed away as a result of injuries resulting from the fire."
