Detroit Grand Prix chairman, Bud Denker and Indy Car driver Connor Daly were in Windsor yesterday drumming up support for this year's Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix on Belle Isle.
Daly told AM800 Sports, "the Detroit Race is very important since it's our only double-header so if you're having a good weekend, you'll have two good points hauls."
The 25 year old who drives for A.J. Foyt racing says "I love the higher danger tracks, the walls are right there, it's bumpy and everything about this track suits me and I enjoy it."
The Belle Isle Grand Prix takes place June 2-4.
