The numbers are up this fall at the University of Windsor.
Despite a projected decline of about 300 students, enrolment has increased by 66.
University President Dr. Alan Wildeman gives part of the credit to new buildings. "You only have to go to the engineering building to see the impact that new facility's had. We had extraordinary enrolment growth in engineering we're really excited about the new school of social work in the downtown and the school of creative arts opening next fall."
Total enrolment in all faculties and degrees now stands at about 15,000.
The university is also in the process of hiring as many as 50 new professors.
