The 2016 Rabies Vaccination Program is about to begin in Windsor-Essex.
Clinics coordinated by the Essex County Veterinary Association will start later this week.
Dr. Leila Kleemola is urging pet owners to make an appointment. "Every clinic has different hours so you're going to nee to check out the poster to check what the availability is. You can make an appointment. It's probably going to last anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. This isn't going to be a full examination that's why costs are kept to a minimum."
The cost is $25 per animal.
Kleemola told AM800's 'The Afternoon News' clinics run this Friday and Saturday.
