The province is holding a town hall meeting in Windsor today to discuss a dementia strategy.
It's part of the process to inform people about "Developing Ontario's Dementia Strategy: A Discussion Paper."
CEO of the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County, Sally Bennett-Olczak will be there and says the meeting is open to the public as well. "Most importantly, people with dementia and their partners in care but also our community partners, members of the public as a whole and people who work in the field of dementia. People who work in home-care, in the hospitals and clinics."
The meeting takes place from 6 to 8pm tonght at the Alzheimer Society office on Richmond St.
There are only five sessions across the province and Windsor is hosting the only one in southwestern Ontario.
