Coroners Inquest Underway in Death of Windsor Roofer

Deaths of the Windsor roofer and two from Lambton County being examined by the inquest
A coroner's inquest has begun looking into the deaths of three roofers, including one from Windsor.
19-year-old Michael Maukonen died in June 28, 2016 after he fell from a roof while disposing of shingles in December 2015.
The company he worked at was fined $90,000 in relation to the workplace fatality.
The joint inquest is looking into the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the roofers who died in separate incidents and the jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.
Five days have been set aside for 14 witnesses to speak to the inquest.
The inquest is taking place at the Chatham courthouse.
