Snow plows continue to make the rounds following the record snowfall.
Plow and salt trucks in Windsor hit residential streets this morning and they should all be done by tomorrow.
Residents and business owners are reminded it is their responsibility to clear sidewalks.
Dwayne Dawson, Operations Executive Director, says sidewalks have to be cleared off today: "commercial owners need to get sidewalks clear within 4 hours, residential sidewalks have to be done within 12 hours after the storm. We're also asking people to get their vehicle soff the residential streets where and if possible"
Dawson says the snow cannot be pushed onto city streets, that's against the by-laws and they've had a number of reports already.
He says things went pretty well for the first major storm of the season and they are ready to go for the rest of the winter.
A record 28 centimetres of snow fell Saturday night into this morning.
Vehicles should also not be parked on the street so plows and salt trucks can get by.
