Caboto Club Workers Join Unifor

The 95 workers will be represented by Unifor Local 240
Workers at Windsor's Caboto Club have decided to join a union.
The 95 workers will be represented by Unifor Local 240.
President Jodi Nesbitt says the workers were recently certified.
"They have been certified and they did apply with Unifor and they were certified with Unifor and our national union organizing department assigned them to local 240," says Nesbitt.

Nesbitt adds she's unsure when talks with the employer will begin.
"We'll meet with the committee and then we'll also meet with the members and we will send out notice to bargain to the company," says Nesbitt.
Unifor Local 240 represents workers at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club, Windsor Salt and the Windsor Star.
