The Fraser Institute is out with its annual rankings of Ontario's elementary schools.
Bellewood Public School scored the highest in Windsor-Essex at 35 overall with a 9.3 out of 10 rating.
The next local school on the list is Colchester North at 136 with a 8.4 rating.
The research organization ranks 2,900 schools from across the province based on nine key indicators from province-wide EQAO testing.
Topping the list is Toronto school Avondale Alternative with a perfect 10/10 score.
However, the report does highlight an overall decline in math scored across Ontario.
