An apparent road rage incident resulted in an arrest after a Windsor man allegedly pulled a pellet gun on another driver.
It happened Tuesday night in Walkerville on Monmouth Rd. near Ontario St.
A 51-year-old-man told police he was suddenly cut off by a man in a black Jeep.
Police say he parked his vehicle in the 1200-block of Monmouth Rd. before the Jeep pulled up next to him and a verbal exchange began, at which point the driver of the Jeep allegedly made threats and pointed a firearm at the driver and bystander.
Officers from the Major Crime Branch were able to identify the vehicle involved in the incident and found it close by on Windermere Rd. and Richmond St. Investigators located an Airsoft handgun and the Jeep involved in incident, both were seized for further investigation.
Twenty-year-old David Deshield of Tecumseh is charged with two counts of point firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and uttering threats.
