A 24-year-old Windsor man has been arrested after an alleged crime spree earlier this week that ended with a 9-1-1 dispatcher spotting the suspect.
It started Tuesday at 1am when a suspect broke into a home on Giles Boulevard and confronted the homeowner who was known to him.
The man fled with some property and a short time later, the suspect was seen smashing out a car window.
A few hours later, police were called to a home on Church St after a suspect broke into a home and approached the elderly female homeowner demanding the keys for a vehicle. She told him she didn't have a car and he fled.
But he was allegedly seen at a neighbour's house smashing a window to get inside the home. The male homeowner in this case confronted the suspect and there was an altercation.
The suspect fled.
Around 8am, a 9-1-1 dispatcher was heading home after the night shift and spotted the suspect on Ouellette Avenue.
Jordan Giles is charges with three counts of break and enter, two counts of mischief, robbery, assault with a weapon and two counts of possession of stolen property.
