Organizers say the tournament has raised 5.2million in 27years
Another unbelievable fundraising year for the annual Hockey For Hospice tournament.
The three-day event raised $587,780.29 for The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
The tournament kicked off on Wednesday with games being played in Amherstburg, Essex, LaSalle and Tecumseh.
It featured 125 teams and 2000 hockey players ranging in age from four-years-old to 14-years-old.
Organizers say the tournament has raised $5.2-million in 27-years.
Last year's event raised more than $531,000.
