211 is releasing their annual Holiday Sharing Guide.
Windsorites can refer to the guide for information about where to give help or receive help this season.
The Holiday Sharing Guide features details about food drives, gifts, toy programs and holiday meals.
Project Manager for 211, Jennifer Tanner, says the guide has become a part of the community.
She says it is specifically designed to relieve stress during the winter months.
"Each year we produce this Holiday Sharing Guide that gives some guidance to people on where they can give help and where they can get help," says Tanner. "There is quite a few programs in the community that can help you out."
She says the Holiday Guide helps keeps Windsorites connected during the season.
"We have been doing this ever since 211 started in Windsor-Essex county and that was back in 2007," says Tanner. "It is actually something that was produced by the United Way prior to that. It is 14 pages long and there is about 50 programs and services listed on the guide."
She says the guide is not just for the holidays.
"There are quite a few programs out there that can help people pay their utility bills if they are having difficulties," says Tanner. "There is a lot more programs now these days to help people with home maintenance, snow removal on their personal property, that sort of thing."
