  • March 10 - September 21 - In SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS, artists and athletes meet at center ice, playing together for AWE’s first Pro Bowl.   • March 20 - May 25 - GAME ON features works from AWE’s collection that reveal the links between athleticism and the visual arts. From the once scandalous Femme au bord de la mer (1930) by Prudence Heward to more recent works by Liss Platt and Karen Kraven, this exhibition demonstrates how artists approach issues around the body, athleticism, competition and comradery. Featured artists include IAIN BAXTER&, Carl Beam, Lynne Cohen, Greg Curnoe, Adèle Duck, Sorel Etrog, Bill Featherston, Robert Hedrick, Prudence Heward, Barrie Jones, Alex Katz, Karen Kraven, William Kurelek, Charles Pachter, Liss Platt, Claude Tousignant, Ruth Annaqtuusi Tulurialik, and Andy Warhol.   • April - Join VON Windsor-Essex every Wednesday in April from 5-8pm at the Riverside Sportsmen Club (10835 Riverside Drive East) for $9 all you can eat pasta in support of the VON Windsor-Essex!   • April - Join Andrea Niven of Bear Foot Studios for a series of art classes for adults on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am until 11am. Come our for a morning of creativity and explore art materials and techniques in a fun and relaxed environment. THere will be activities such as drawing, painting, and collaging, using an array of mediums.
