A 19-year-old Windsor man has pleaded guilty in connection to a series of convenience store robberies.
Cody Farrugia was arrested in May and was charged with six counts of robbery and six counts of wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offence.
In court, he pleaded guilty to one count of robbery and the case was put over for sentencing in August.
The most recent robbery took place in May when a suspect entered a convenience store on Lauzon Rd. near Tecumseh Rd. East. He held out a knife and demanded cash.
Police were able to link the suspect to a series of 6 robberies in the area.
His lawyer Laura Joy says Farrugia has expressed remorse.
He was remanded in custody.
