A Windsor man faces charges after an alleged stabbing in Leamington.
The OPP say a woman was driving on Whitwam Street in Leamington around 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve when she was flagged down by a pedestrian who claimed he was stabbed.
Police say the woman transported the 24-year-old Leamington man to a hospital suffering from potentially life altering injuries.
Police later went to an apartment complex on Lutsch Avenue in Leamington and arrested a 21-year-old Windsor man.
He has been charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
No names have been released.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
