An arrest has been in the death of Windsor skateboarder who was struck and killed in Vancouver.
Vancouver Police have arrested 23-year-old Amanpreet Sohal in connection to the death of 30-year-old Ryan Barron.
Sohal has been charged with failing to stop at an accident causing bodily harm and dangerous driving causing death.
Barron was skateboarding on April 17, 2016 around 2:30am when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver didn't stop but police located the vehicle believed to be involved. It had extensive damage.
Barron died in the hospital.
In Windsor, plans for the "Barron Bowl' are underway to create an addition to the Atkinson Skate Park.
