Windsor Police have identified a 26-year-old Windsor man in connection to a stabbing over the holiday weekend.
Officers were called to a disturbance in a hotel parking lot in the 2900 block of Dougall Avenue near Grand Marais Road W at about 3 am Saturday morning.
They discovered a 20-year-old man with facial lacerations and non-life threatening stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Following an investigation police have today issued a warrant for 26-year-old Emad Adel Ben-Abdellah for aggravated assault, robbery and 2 counts of breach of probation.
Police say the weapon used in the stabbing has not been recovered.
At the time of the attack the suspect was described as being 20-30 years old with tanned skin. He's about 6-feet tall and has a stocky build weighing about 180-200 pounds.
He has black hair slicked back in a pony-tail and also a thin moustache and goatee with a chin-strap style of beard.
At the time he was wearing dark coloured jeans, a black baseball hat and a light coloured jacket
Police are warning people not to approach this person if he is spotted.
