The driver of a jeep involved in a fiery afternoon crash has been arrested after showing signs of impairment.
Around 1:45pm, OPP responded to a crash on Highway 3 near Sexton Sideroad, between a Jeep SUV and a farm tractor hauling three wagons, loaded with grain.
The Jeep burst into flames but the driver was able to exit the vehicle safely.
The driver of the farm tractor was not injured.
The driver and lone occupant of the Jeep was arrested at the scene by police after exhibiting signs of impairment and was transported to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of Highway 3 have been reopened while the eastbound lanes will remain closed until approximately 5:30pm while the grain trailer is removed from the highway.
The investigation is ongoing.
