Manny Paiva's broadcast career has taken him from London to Owen Sound to Windsor.

Born in Strathroy, Ont., the Fanshawe College broadcast journalism grad has been working in the radio and television broadcast industry since 1994.

Manny started his career as a part time news reporter and broadcaster in London before moving to Owen Sound where he worked for more than 20 years at Bayshore Broadcasting. He climbed the career ladder to eventually become the Program Director for 560 CFOS-AM and held the title of News Manager for the company. He helped grow the company from three radio stations to eight stations from Goderich to Port Elgin to Wasaga Beach, Orillia and Shelburne.

During his time in Owen Sound, Manny led a team that won several RTDNA awards for newscasts. His reporting resume includes covering the Walkerton water crisis and a tour boat tragedy in Tobermory.

Manny joined the team at CTV Windsor as News Director in 2016. Since then, he has taken on the same role at AM800 CKLW and is the Director of News, Information for Bell Media Windsor.

Manny's resume also includes years behind the mic on radio and television, broadcasting games in the Ontario Hockey League. He first started calling games for the London Knights before moving to Owen Sound and broadcasting games for the Owen Sound Platers and Attack. He continues to broadcast OHL games with the Windsor Spitfires on AM800 CKLW.

When Manny is not working, he spends time at home with his wife and two daughters who love to travel and find new things to do in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
